A-Level results: The Littlehampton Academy

The Academy in Fitzalan Road saw 40 per cent of students achieve high grades A*-B with around 62 per cent of year 13 students heading off to university, with the majority gaining their first choice place.
Almost 90 per cent of these students are also first generation scholars - the first in their families to attend university.

Hide AdKate Claydon, director of learning at key stage 5 at The Littlehampton Academy said: “We are very pleased with the results this morning.
“A number of our students have achieved grades beyond what they had hoped for and have done themselves proud.
“We have a high number of students going off to university and our AS students are in a good position ahead of next year.
“The results, overall, have been outstanding.”
A number of students are now preparing to study at some of the UK’s top universities including Imperial College London and Royal Holloway.
