New assisted shopping bus service on offer in Mid Sussex

The charity is the key provider of assisted transport for the more vulnerable in the Sussex community.
It is now offering a new assisted, door-to-door shopping bus service which exceeds the Government guidelines of social distancing for passengers, a spokesman for the charity said. Vehicles are fully sanitized between each run.

Hide AdThe accessible shopping bus will run on various days to Henfield, Albourne, Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Cuckfield and Lindfield and surrounding areas.
The spokesman said: “All passengers will be required to wear a mask, unless they are medically exempt, whilst on the bus. Passenger numbers will be limited on buses to ensure that appropriate social distancing is possible.”
Registration to travel with us is free, the charity said. The spokesman added: “Our service is available for anyone who has difficulty accessing mainstream transport – all of our vehicles are wheelchair accessible.”
