'More signs of a sparkly Christmas' in Bognor Regis town centre

Jason Passingham, chairman of the Business Improvement District in Bognor, said the organisation is 'thrilled with the way things are coming along' for Christmas.
He said: "The BID has worked closely with Bognor Regis Town Council and Arun District Council to make sure all of our plans tie in together beautifully.

Hide Ad"You can feel a growing sense of excitement with every Christmas addition going in, and it’s great to see the reactions from the community both out and about and on social media – even before a single bulb’s been lit.
"We all know it’s going to be different this year, but whatever restrictions are in place at the time, Bognor Regis businesses are making sure the town centre is a beautiful, festive place to be by funding these amazing new displays and installations."
A 'special Christmas website' and social media channels for the festive season have now gone live.
The website, www.christmasbognorregis.co.uk, includes details of all the ways people can get involved and enjoy an illuminating time in Bognor Regis town centre this Christmas – 'whatever restrictions are in place'.

Hide AdMr Passingham added: "We know you’re keen to get on with your Christmas shopping, and really encourage you to support your local businesses however you can in the run up to Christmas – even if their doors are closed.
"Businesses have adapted amazingly this year, and so many now offer online shopping, click and collect, takeaway and delivery options — they’re still there for you!
"You’ll find details of how a wide range of high street shops and services are operating during lockdown on the BID’s Shop Local website – www.shoplocalbognorregis.co.uk."
The BID said, as the Christmas atmosphere builds, residents 'will see more changes in town over the course of this week'.
