Burglary round up: Bicycles stolen from Eastbourne properties

Police said thieves broke into the garage just off Seaside on Friday, May 22.
Five other burglary and attempted burglary cases in total are the latest that have been reported in the town by Sussex Police.

Hide AdOfficers said a bicycle was stolen from an open shed at a property off Millbrook gardens between Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26 and 27.
According to police, thieves broke into a property through an open door in Jevington Gardens during the day on Monday, May 25 and stole personal items.
Police said intruders were on the premises of a sports centre just off Broadwater Way overnight between Wednesday and Friday, May 20 and May 22, but no entry was gained.
Sussex Police said two ‘young lads’ were warned off by homeowners in Upper Avenue on Monday, May 25 after they were seen climbing a garden fence and trying to get into the shed.

Hide AdOfficers said they were called to a property off Summerdown Road after people were reportedly on the grounds late in the evening of Tuesday, May 26. Police said they did an area search and no one was found.
Police have urged burglary victims to report it online, or by calling 101 – always dial 999 in an emergency or if a burglary is in action.
