Hide AdDetective Inspector Jo Banks said; “We understand Mr Dale has been depressed recently and although we have been carrying out widespread searches of local open land and water areas, with specialist search units and the police helicopter, and making enquiries with local people, there has been no further sighting of him.
“We are becoming very concerned for his welfare and safety and ask anyone who thinks they have seen him to get in touch with us as quickly as possible via 101 quoting serial 1397 of 5/1.
“As he had bag with him he may be seeking to stay at B&B type accommodation and we would particularly appeal to proprietors locally or indeed further afield to let us know if anyone answering his description has visited them since Thursday afternoon.”
