Donation will help animal charity to continue work
Worthing and District Animal Rescue Service (WADARS) was randomly selected to receive the money in insurer Petplan’s monthly charity prize draw.
Julie Toben, WADARS charity manager, commented: “At WADARS we rely entirely on the generous support from the public and the community it serves. We would not be able to carry out our essential work without that support, which is why we are so pleased that we have received this generous cheque from Petplan.

As a result, we receive up to 50 telephone calls a day and our Animal Rescue Officers make thousands of visits in the course of a year. This donation will help us to continue this valuable work.”
WADARS focuses on wildlife issues through its tending of animals in need of rescue and rehoming cats and dogs whose owners are no longer able to care for them.
