Dr plans ‘insane challenge’

The event begins with a 3.8-kilometre swim, followed by a 180-kilometre cycle, ending with a 42-kilometre run.

Dr Honess said the event would be “the biggest physical challenge” of her life.
She said: “There are times when I definitely wonder whether I have bitten off more than I can chew.
“But, then, that’s what makes it a challenge, and what makes it exciting.
