Afterwards, she joined the children for a celebratory tea party.

Hide AdMany of the children at Chailey Heritage have dual placements.
This allows the pupils to benefit from the specialist input that Chailey can offer for part of the week, with the rest of the week being spent in a mainstream school in the community of their family.
The new department was completed at the end of last year at a cost of 2.8 million.
It is the second royal visitor to East Sussex in recent days. Earlier the Countess of Wessex visited Westham school, near Hailsham.
