GCSE RESULTS: Claverham Community College’s ‘excellent progress’

Scores of anxious students queued up at the college to get their results and see if they had made the grade.
The school said 70 per cent of this year’s cohort of GCSE students scored five A* to C grades, which included maths and English.

Hide AdPaul Swatton, principal of Claverham Community College, said: “I am extremely proud of the results achieved this year by the students at Claverham Community College.
“Seventy per cent of the year group achieved five or more A* to C passes, including English and maths, which is a reflection of their individual hard work, determination and talent.
“The excellent progress they have made is a testament to the dedication and commitment shown by all students and staff at the college, together with the invaluable support provided by parents and governors.
“My congratulations go to all of the young people who have secured these results, which I am sure will act as a springboard for future success.”
