Housing on the agenda at meeting
The proposal from Wilmington Homes to build on the old VW Caffyn’s site in Goring Road will go before Worthing Borough Council’s planning committee, in the Gordon Room at Worthing Town Hall, on Wednesday.
The 17-house proposal comprises of nine two-bedroom houses, six three-bedroom houses and two two-bedroom flats.
Thirty per cent of the homes will be affordable housing.

Hide AdAlso on the agenda is the Toby Carvery in Goring Road, which is seeking advertisement consent for a replacement illuminated sign.
Glaxo Smith Kline, in Southdown View Way, Worthing, has submitted a proposal for the provision of a new contractors workshop building with associated welfare facilities.
Council officers have recommended for all three items to be approved.
