Letter: Obsolete ideas
Says new Tory Leader Duncan Crow ('Millions in savings leave a golden legacy', Observer Politics, June 4):
“If Labour reverts back to...a wasteful left-wing Council...then...our new [right-wing] Conservative opposition will not let them get away with it”
Cllr Crow just doesn’t get it, does he?
The people of Crawley are simply not interested in the old Left v Right ideological warfare of a previous century - and voted accordingly (or not at all).
Such obsolete ideas are at odds with the challenges we face as a town - and possible city - in the 21st century.
