Bognor Regis restaurant to feed hungry children over half-term following Marcus Rashford campaign

Angelina's Bar and Eatery in Lennox Street will be offering free meals to hungry children throughout the half-term.
The Government voted against providing free school meal vouchers during the holiday sparking a huge, nationwide response will businesses and council's stepping in to offer their support.

Hide AdManchester United footballer Marcus Rashford tweeted the comapany's Facebook post as part of his campaign to support families in feeding their children during the school break.
Owner of Angelina's, Denise Bennett, said: "I have a granddaughter who is eleven and just reading about it, I can't get my hear around why they can't do it for a week — these parents need it.
"We have all lost a fortune this year and a lot of these parents don't have the work at the moment. I can do just one little thing for them then I'm happy."
In the restaurant's Facebook post, Denise said: "We know how difficult it is having children duing these horrible covid times. At Angelina's during half-term we want to help parents whose children are normally given free school lunches.

Hide Ad"So during half-term we are givng for free to those parents that need help, a health kids lunch that consists of: a cheese or ham sandwich, crisps, veggie sticks, a yoghurt and a drink."
