Horsham pubs welcome back customers for outdoor dining today - despite the weather

A number of pubs in the district have been preparing for weeks to welcome back customers from today after the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Many have put out messages expressing their delight at being back in business - even if it is only for outdoor service at the moment.

Hide AdThe Cricketers Arms in Wisborough Green said: “We are finally allowed to open let’s hope the little flurry of snow won’t put you off.”
And they urged customers: “Bring your own blanket.”
And customers have assured them they will be there.
Meanwhile, the Norfolk Arms in Crawley Road, Horsham said: “Looking forward to welcoming those that brave the cold today.
“On a plus note, your beer won’t be getting warm.”
The Tipsy Fox in Southwater, which has installed two marquees in its garden, says it is fully booked for tonight.
And at The Bear in Horsham’s Market Square - which has a courtyard garden as well as dining tables outside its front door - landlords say: “We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again and doing what we do best ... enjoying ourselves.”
