School plant tree in memory of Oliver Curd
A new oak tree has been planted on the grounds of Peasmarsh CE Primary School in memory of former pupil Oliver Curd.
Whilst a pupil at Peasmarsh CE Primary School, Oliver was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) and sadly passed away in 2007.
The tree is special as it is from an acorn originally planted by Oliver. His mother Sarah Curd planted the tree.
