Registered Nurses interested in joining the St Michael's Hospice team, are invited to an Open Day at the hospice on April 21, commencing at 10am.
The day starts with a tour of the Hospice In-Patient Unit followed by three teaching sessions to include ‘Meeting the needs of patients and their families’, ‘Hospice at Home Clinical Nurse Specialist, Gold Standards Framework – what is it and what does it mean for palliative care?’, ‘Hospice Education Manager and ‘New NICE Guidelines on Care of the Dying Adult’. Attendees will receive a one hour CPD certificate for use in their Revalidation portfolio. Lunch will be provided. RN’s are asked to download and complete a job application form, prior to the Open Day, and submit it to HR before the day for a guaranteed interview. Visit: www.stmichaelshospice.com/jobs
