The AA said it first received a report of the road closure in Greenwich Way, Peacehaven, at round 11am today (Saturday, September 2).
The road is closed from Arundel Road to Sutton Avenue, the AA added.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “This was a medical incident, no vehicles or other individuals involved.”
