UPDATE: Man remains in hospital following Cowfold crash
Emergency services were called to the collision on Station Road, close to the junction with Thornden, at about 1.20pm on Friday (December 2).
Police said the crash involved a silver Vauxhall Vivaro travelling east and a red Renault Megane heading in the opposite direction.

Hide AdA 50-year-old man, from Harwich, in Essex, and a 41-year-old man, from Stevenage, in Hertfordshire, were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Police said the injuries were not life-threatening and the man from Essex has since been discharged.
The road was closed for several hours and caused traffic chaos in the area throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
PC Ian Ravenhill from the Roads Policing Unit said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and who saw what happened immediately before or just after the collision.

Hide Ad“The road was closed for nearly five hours and I appreciate this will have caused significant disruption for some motorists. If you were caught up in any jams then I would like to thank you for your patience.”
