A steam train passed through railway stations across West Sussex over the weekend.

The Royal Wessex, hauled by West Country steam locomotive No. 34046 Braunton, left Hove at 8.10am on Saturday (November 12), passing through Southwick, Shoreham and Lancing before stopping at Worthing at 8.32am.

It carried along the coast and past Chichester, arriving in Weymouth for the afternoon at 12.40pm.

The train arrived back in Worthing at 8.18pm and Hove at 8.37pm.
