VOTE: Should Arun district embrace the Olympic Torch or is it all a waste of time and money?
Thousands of people are expected to line the roads, pavements and bridges of the town to watch the spectacle of Arundel’s own Olympic Festival.
The torch is set to arrive at the town – after visiting South Bersted, Bognor Regis and Westergate – at about 3.26pm, near the western end of Maltravers Street, by the A27 roundabout,

Hide AdThree torchbearers from East Sussex and one from Germany will escort the flame in 300m-long relays, through Arundel, setting off along Maltravers Street, into the centre of the town and making their way down the High Street.
The relay route will then turn left into Mill Road and enter Arundel Castle, briefly, before heading back down Mill Road, into Queen Street and eventually finishing at the eastern end of The Causeway, near the Arundel railway station.
The torch will then move off to Worthing.
