Supporters of Eastbourne Borough and all National League clubs are being urged to send a clear message to the government over funding help by signing a new petition.

Active discussions and negotiations are continuing on the way forward for the National League season amid a stand-off over government support to enable NL clubs to carry on playing behind closed doors.

The key is the change from grants to loans that clubs are being asked to accept as the second half of the season begins. Many say they cannot play on unless cash aid comes in grant forms - and say loans will not be possible to pay back.
