Hamm meets the challenge to keep it perfect for Pirates
It was always going to be tight with both teams locked at the top. Wheatsheaf took the lead after an early mix-up in the Pirates defence. But new Pirates captain Michael Palmer headed home an equaliser soon after on his 49th appearance for the club.
Wheatsheaf struck again to take the lead early in the second half and it looked like they’d take the points until a late Mark Gill wonder header pulled it back to 2-2.

Sub Jack Knight could have extended the lead but a superb save from the Wheatsheaf keeper denied the youngster.
