Hollington United boss backs Mid Sussex League restart plan
The league’s bosses have drawn up plans for teams to return to action from April 3, following the government’s announcement that outdoor sport can resume on March 29.
The premier division – in which Hollington play – and division one are each being split into two divisions of seven, with teams playing each other once to ensure matches can be fitted in.

Price agrees with how they are trying to get the season back up and running.
He said: “I get what they are trying to do and hats off to them for trying to get us back and making it competitive – the format makes sense and the league tables don’t lie.”
Price believes most of the players can’t wait to play.
He said: “ Some of the players aren’t sure what they are doing yet. With being in lockdown for so long some of us want to go out to see families, which is completely understandable. However most players are raring to go.”

He added: “I’m not sure if I’ll be in the dugout or not. I’m one of those who will prioritise my family. But for football in general it’s massive. Players need that release, that routine back in their lives.”
