WORTHING Raiders Rugby Club flanker Jamie Redmayne scooped December’s Samsung Try of the Month for his effort against Dorking.

Former England captain Will Carling, who judged the competition, decided that Redmayne’s run in to finish off a move started by scrum-half Calum Waters in the Worthing 22 was the stand-out try.

He said: “They’re under pressure but the scrum-half decides they’re going to play a bit with a great inside ball to the wing, who manages to link up with the midfield.
