Another Year
CHRISTMAS lights are taken down,Up leap the winter sales,Faded sounds of wondrous carols.
In rages squally gales,
Party food and drink disposed of,
Days and nights are cold.
Buying gifts now forgotten,
Spring flowers will soon unfold,
Loving cards been recycled.
Thoughts of holidays begun
Doubts of New Year resolutions,
Hopes of summer sun.
