County News: Sussex town centre evacuated in bomb scare

Police are dealing with a report of a suspicious package at McDonald’s restaurant in Wellington Place, Hastings.

The alarm was raised by staff at the restaurant just after 10am. A cordon has been established and the area within the cordon is being evacuated.
