Appeal for witnesses after antique items stolen in Shoreham burglary

Police believe entry was gained by smashing a rear window at sometime between 5pm on Saturday, August 6 and 3pm on Sunday, August 7.
Antique cutlery items, including a set of eight fish knives and forks, silver pepper pots and jewellery were taken, as well as a Victorian silver mesh penny purse described by police as ‘rather unique looking’.

Hide AdDetective Constable Gavin Percival said: “I would ask that if anyone saw anything suspicious during this period to please get in touch.
“I am particularly keen for anyone with private CCTV in the immediate area to take the time to view their footage for that night and contact me if anything is seen that may assist with the enquiry.”
