The following are results contributed by HM Court Service, of cases sentenced by Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Paul Brown, 42, of The Meades, Dormansland, was fined £575, with a £120 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at East Grinstead.

Hannah Schofield, 23, of Ifield Road, Crawley, was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £140, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs. She had pleaded guilty to drink driving, and to failing to comply with a traffic light, at Crawley.

Liam Thompson, 23, of Garden Walk, Crawley, was given a one year conditional discharge, a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer at Crawley.

Hannah Crawford, 29, of no fixed address, was banned from driving for six months, with a £160 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. She had pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer, driving without a licence, and driving without insurance, all at Crawley, and admitted breaching a conditional discharge.

Jack Roffey, 23, of Tyler Road, Crawley, was jailed for 14 weeks, with an £80 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order by sending text messages, and was re-sentenced for assault, using violence to gain entry to premises, and two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Philip Booth, 52, of Hevers Avenue, Horley, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted under the single justice procedure of speeding at Gatwick.

James London, 55, of Bridgelands, Copthorne, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted under the single justice procedure of speeding at East Grinstead.

Peter Perity, 29, c/o Forester Road, Crawley, was fined £100, with £155 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to household items in Crawley. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim, or going to an address in Crawley.

Stephen Brown, 49, of Cumbernauld Walk, Crawley, was jailed for 17 weeks, with a three year driving ban, and an £80 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drink, and to driving without insurance, in Crawley.

Ryan Higson, 27, of Letchworth Court, Crawley, was jailed for eight weeks, with an £80 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to theft of electrical goods from Boots in Crawley, theft of groceries from a Co-op in Crawley, and causing criminal damage to a security tag and stealing a laptop from Staples in Horsham.
