Jeremy Corbyn visits Crawley in tour of marginal seats
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn visited Crawley today to meet party members and activists as part off a national tour of marginal seats.
The town’s Conservative MP Henry Smith saw his majority reduced from 6,526 to 2,457 votes at June’s general election by Labour candidate Tim Lunnon.
Crawley was represented by a Labour MP from 1997 to 2010 and the party currently has a slender majority at Crawley Borough Council.
