The chair of the London organising committee for the Games chatted with youngsters, signed autographs and met Olympic hopefuls to mark the involvement of schools from across West Sussex in the London 2012 education programme. He said: “It’s the way that the games are now beginning to become realistic for people in London and outside London as well. “It was really important these were a Games for everybody - this is a UK-wide project,” he added.
