An Eastbourne YouTuber has made a video highlighting the best bits about our town.

Joe Weller shows off the sights of Eastbourne to his millions of subscribers in his new video titled ‘Turning My Hometown into the SICKEST Holiday Resort of 2020’.

He says, “I’ve decided I want to turn my hometown into a mental luxury holiday destination. This is going to be the sickest 10 minutes.

“Like most towns in England, there’s not a lot going on in my home town of Eastbourne. It’s actually officially the old person capital of the UK.

“And, given we can’t go travelling around the world right now, I’m going to do everything I can in 24 hours to transform it into the most mental holiday cool place ever.”

The video, which already has more than 700,000 views, sees Joe go early-morning wakeboarding past the iconic backdrop of the Seven Sisters, visit an abandoned ‘haunted house’ in the woods, kayak with friends in the sea, and hiking on the downs.

The final shots are of a picturesque sunset walk up Beachy Head.
