Rogate children learn about Second World War on Evacuee Day

Some of the children were able to bring in real artefacts from the period, such as ration cards and call-up papers, which created some fascinating discussions.
Christine Ward, year five/six class teacher, said: “We staged an air raid during the morning which led to some brilliant writing. It was good to see how the children entered into character.”
