Cheaper short-stay parking for Pavilions leisure centre users
Currently visitors have to pay at least £1.60 for up to a three hour stay, the shortest length of tariff currently available.
However the majority of the users of the Hurst Road Car Park are leisure centre customers who use the facilities for between one and two hours.

Hide AdHorsham District Council is proposing to introduce two new tariffs, one for a stay of up to one hour costing £1 and for up to two hours costing £1.60, the same as the current up to three-hour stay.
The new charge for a stay of up to three hours would rise to £2.20, and £3.60 for up to four hours (currently £3.30) and £5 for up to five (currently £4.40).
Its name would also be changed to The Pavilions Car Park.
If the proposals are agreed by council cabinet members next Thursday (November 22) a consultation would start later this month, with the changes being introduced from the beginning of January.
The car park generated an income of £340,000 in 2017/18 and the changes are not expected to have an impact on the level of income received.
