£740,000 Brede sewage improvements
Southern Water is carrying out £740.000 of improvement work at the Stubb Lane plant,
The company is installing a new unit to add an extra level of treatment to wastewater, and new monitors to check the flows leaving the site are of the highest possible standard.

Hide AdThe work will ensure the site continues to meet new Environment Agency standards.
Southern Water’s Project Manager Gary Sayers said: “This is an important scheme which will have many environmental benefits.”
Construction starts this month and is expected to finish next summer. It is being carried out by contractor 4Delivery.
