Sompting Youth 0 Predators FC 1

Predators claimed victory with a gutsy performance. Every Sompting effort was snaffled out by the defence or saved by the safe hands of Fellows and then countered by the midfield and forwards of Predators.

After the break, Tigers forced a corner. Clarke's fantastic delivery was met by a leaping Hamilton to head home his first goal and give the team a well-earned win.

Rustington Park Youth 2 Chichester City United 3

A fierce midfield battle was the theme of the game and strong play by Alfie Shaw, James Scutt and James Amos forced Rustington into an own goal.

The hosts soon levelled, but an impressive solo effort by Shaw restored Chichester's lead. A good pass from Scutt and neat finish from Patrick Turner made it 3-1.

Rustington scored again but a man-of-the-match performance by Charlie East at right-back gave Chichester the win.

Midhurst & Easebourne United 4 Middleton Diamonds 1

Midhurst maintained their thre-point lead at the the top of the A league with a pleasing win over last season's winners.

Connor Seal won the ball in midfield and set up Ben Pett for the opener '“ a half-volley from 18 yards which crept inside the post.

Pett was tripped inside the area, but his penalty was well saved.

Eddie Davis made it 2-0 with a neat turn and shot from 10 yards, and Ryan Bicknell made it 3-0 at half-time from close range.

Middleton were stronger in the second half.

Man of the match Brandon Konieczny was outstanding in defence and Cameron Shadbolt made several brilliant saves but Middleton pulled one back.

Connor Reid made it 4-1 with an excellent individual goal.
